This is how Barbagia presents itself, a vast mountainous region of central Sardinia which extends along the flanks of the Gennargentu massif.

Our journey will cross only a part of this immense territory and more precisely the eight municipalities that are part of the Barbagia union: Oniferi, Sarule, Ollollai, Gavoi, Lodine, Olzai, Ovodda and Tiana.
